Yin and Yang yoga with back focusTime: 75 minutes
In Chinese philosophy, Ying and Yang describe two opposing forces that relate to each other and strive for a balanced unity. Combining yin and yang yoga exercises, this class offers a perfect ending to the end of the week.
More...The YANG principle stands for movement, activity and warmth, among other things. In yoga, this energy is expressed primarily in dynamic, strengthening movement sequences and muscle-strengthening postures. The focus of the lesson is on the spine, our mobile and at the same time stable center. Balanced muscle work reactivates the body's natural straightening principles. This creates relief and freedom of movement for the back and joints. As the class progresses, we increasingly discover the aspects of softness and devotion in the balancing YIN yoga postures. As a contrast to YANG, the YIN principle stands for, among other things, calm and passive reception. We give these qualities more and more space in the longer YIN yoga exercises, which are usually carried out sitting or lying down, without muscle tension. This also applies to mindful observation of the breath. It brings us into connection with our body sensations, our inner processes in the here and now. The parasympathetic nervous system is activated, which is responsible for rest and recovery. Body and mind can regenerate holistically. The course is suitable for beginners and advanced learners. Yin YogaTime: 75 minutes
Yin Yoga is a meditative and reflexive yoga practice based on sitting or lying asanas, which are held for a long time.
More...The concept of Yin Yoga consists of attitudes derived from traditional Hatha Yoga and supplemented with various influences from traditional Indian Yoga, Chinese Taoism, and Western science on body structure and function of the internal organs. With a Yin Yoga practice one strengthens the calm, passive side of a person and can thus compensate for the hectic, active everyday life. The focus here is on the deeper layers of the body such as connective tissue and fascia. These are often not achieved in dynamic yoga. The results of modern fascia research show that connective tissue, as long assumed, is not simply filling material, but plays an important role in our well-being. Recent findings show that the meridians run in the fascia and their harmonization through the long passive strains, as done in Yin Yoga, have a balancing and healing effect. The style is suitable for beginners and advanced. Yoga SoftTime: 75 minutes
This course is for anyone who wants to practice yoga gently. Even if you are senior or weakened, then this course is the right one for you.
More...With the support of aids (blocks, straps, bolsters and, if necessary, chairs) we will do exercises together. In the case of restrictions, I respond individually to everyone and offer variants if necessary. There is no sun salutation practiced in this class. The focus is on maintaining and improving mobility, balance and gentle strengthening. Breathing and relaxation are of course integral parts. The basis is my yoga therapy training. If you are still thinking or have any questions, please contact me. This style is suitable for beginners and advanced. Vinyassa FlowTime: 90 minutes
Vinyasa-Yoga is a dynamic, flowing yoga style in wich movements are performed synchronously with the breath.
More...This Yogastyle is about putting together Asanas(yogaposes) in a certain way. The Practice takes place in a constant flow and the Asanas are kept too. The goal is the transition from one pose to another with the breath.
